Wow, so much has happened in the past couple of months...I may be playing catch up here for a while. Ace is getting to be such a big boy! He continues to amaze us daily by what a joy he is! He is more than we could have ever imagined, and we'll both write more about that later. He will be 7 months old on the 19th of this month and is just growing so fast. He's still in the lower percentiles weight and height - only 16 1/2 lbs and 26 inches long at his 6 month check-up, but is such a healthy boy...we are so grateful for that.

What a wonderful God!
We've been asked about what Ace eats a lot recently. These days, he eats three "meals" of solids a day...and at those meals he eats oatmeal with liquid gold (aka breast milk) and fruits and veggies. What does he eat? What doesn't he eat?! He loves applesauce and sweet potatoes the most, and his fave mixed food is hearty vegetable stew. He also eats (in order of preference) prunes, apples and blueberries, bananas (mashed, pureed, or pieces), butternut squash, pears, tomato paste/pieces of fresh tomatoes, carrots, and peas. Don't know why we actually did what our pediatrician told us to and started with fruits, because the boy is having a hard time accepting his greens. But we're making progress...it's amazing what a little breast milk and zap in the microwave will do for some stinky broccoli! He is a lot like his Mommy with those taste buds...we both prefer more bland foods. Oh, and veggies with meats are also things he turns his nose up at for now.
Well, even though our angel sleeps 10-12 hours at night, I've got to get up early for church in the morning...so that's all for now!

Too stinkin' cute! A little on the small size, huh? I wonder which side of the family he takes after...
I didn't even know you'd been lurking around at my blog, but I'm glad I found yours.
I'll talk to you later!
