Missing Georgia(ns)

I want to blog more. Much, much more, but I am busy chasing Ace, and exhausted by my preoccupation with what I miss. It's pathetic, and I promise I don't spend my days (well, at least not 7 out of 7) wallowing in self-pity. Please don't misunderstand, though, I love where we are. This place is gorgeous. I have beautiful places to run - something I've longed for since Ace was born. I need to take pictures...you'll be shocked at some of the scenery in our neighborhood. Ace loves getting to play with Dave and Karen, as do they. We love, love, LOVE our church. It is so refreshing and Mace and I talk about it often. I told Mace after we left on Sunday, "I just cannot get enough of that place." And he agreed. And believe me, it takes a lot to make that kind of impression on Mace. High standards. Which is why he's married to me, but you already knew that.

We do miss so much about Georgia, though. I miss my mom, dad, 3 sisters, 2 brothers, sis- and bro- in-law, and nephew who are there (there are more elsewhere!). My pretty precious pukey preggers pal . My sweet Junie bird. My sisters' friends who are my friends because they're hers. My car. Ace being able to roam about the house without limits. I miss good health insurance. I SO miss our doctors. Friends in general. We don't have those yet...and we're lonely. All three of us are really, depressingly lonely. We all miss familiar things, but are becoming more acquainted with our bluegrass farmland surroundings. And we do love it so. Oh Georgians, we miss you, though.

Well, I just uploaded a ton of pictures, but it seems it didn't work. And now, before the whole breakfast room ends up covered in bananas, I better run. But not flip the stroller and fall on top. I'll share about that later. Thank you, Jesus for my sweet, sweet boy's life. I am so grateful.
