I Have an Addiction

Allow me to introduce you to my new love. Okay, it's more like my new obsession, addiction, and enabler, but it's too good not to share. This, folks, is Tan Towel, my newest self-tanning must-have.

It's no secret that I self-tan. I mean, no one really thought I went from ghostly pale

To a nice, healthy, orange...er...golden brown the "natural way," did they?

What's that? I didn't share about Ace's airbrush tatoo on the 4th of July? Oops, my bad.

Anyway, I used to go through one can of L'Oreal Sublime Bronze airbrush tan a week. Yeah...no good for the wallet.
And it tends to be orange. Really, REALLY orange. Plus, it's more than 10 bucks a pop. Ouch.

Well, Ulta was running a special the day after we got to Kentucky, and I got a $10 "free gift" with a Tan Towel purchase. So, $21 later, I started giving the self-tanning mist a try. And. I. Love. It. I still have the first bottle I purchase on August 4th, with more than 1/4 of the bottle left, today, SEPTEMBER 2nd! So, it's an investment, but it lasts! And there isn't any weird splotchiness as it fades...the L'Oreal has a really freaky way of fading...I looked like I had vitiligo. No thank you. And Mace doesn't make fun of me for having orange skin. I really don't! I've used the spray at least once a day for the past month, and I just spray it on, rub it in, and WASH MY HANDS. Most of the time...haha! The spray doesn't dry sticky, but smooth, and has a nice light scent. It doesn't have that nasty "self tanner smell." Too bad I don't have a picture to prove it...I'll get right on that.
