forget pregnancy cravings - my two year-old woke up asking for chocolate milk at 5am today(aka 25 week update)!!

ridonculous facial expression at 25 weeks
 25 weeks, 1 day
(dirty mirror, not a hole in my tank top at the nip) 25 weeks, 3 days

How Far Along: 25 weeks, 3 days - weird how the belly changes from day to day

Size of baby: 9.2 inches and TWO pounds!   Still channeling his inner eggplant

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 27 pounds. If I'm awake, I'm gaining.

Maternity Clothes: I'm taking a dear friend's advice in hopes of surviving this pregnancy feeling more "normal" than the last and am buying stretchy tank tops, leggings, and wearing gauchos, dresses, and skirts.  It's working out splendidly and I am super comfortable.  Minus the 100 degree weather.

Gender: Boy!  Excited to meet AP!

Movement: Love it...that is something that never gets old and i always miss when i'm not pregnant.  Loving seeing him flip and flop...enjoy it while you can, sweet boy, it's gonna get cramped in there awfully quick!

Food Cravings: I don't subscribe to the "pregnancy cravings" notion...I mean, we all crave something at some point or another in a given day, right? Pregnant women may just be a bit more demanding assertive when it comes to cravings.  However, sour things have ALWAYS been my fave and are great when I'm nauseous!
I am also loving salads and fruit and frozen yogurt...but that's mostly me and a Georgia summer thing!

What I miss: ibuprofen is a big deal for a sinus-migraine sufferer.  ouch.

Sleep: sleeping as well as i can, when i can...no more than a 3-4 hour stretch at a time.  crazy, disturbing and scary dreams are rampant.  and little boy tickles sometimes when i'm trying to get comfy.

Symptoms: Crazy dreams, mild-moderate nausea, fatigue, random bloody nose, round ligament pain (SO much worse and sooner this time around - OUCH!), and forgetfulness...don't count on me to remember to do something these days!  New onessciatica(WHAT?!) and my finger nails are ridiculously thick.  dry and brittle, but thick.  it's pretty amazing.

Best moment this week:  pain letting up - too easy to take being pain free for granted!

What I am looking forward to:  getting the boys' room together - Ace picked out the paint and I just need to get to sewing their bedding!
