32 weeks
33 weeks (that dark line is on the vintage mirror, NOT a streak of poop on our carpet. i checked.)
Today I'm 33 weeks, so I (hopefully) have 6 weeks or less to continue to pack on the pounds(39 right now) and swell and run out of things to wear and not sleep on my belly. Haha! YES, there are many things that i am absolutely loving about this pregnancy, and dr. h has assured me that the longest stretch by far is 32-33 weeks. and i really, really appreciate all the sweet compliments and encouragement you guys have sent my way. Reality is, no matter how great I look right now, whatever weight I gain is weight to lose. And precious baby is TOTALLY worth it, but it's just not fun to watch yourself blow up like a balloon! Note: I am only 5 ft, 4...so 39 pounds is a LOT to carry...no matter how it's distributed!
I know i sound foolishly ungrateful right now...but I'm not. I'm grateful beyond words for the gift of this baby boy and, yes, this pregnancy. I'm just tired. my body is tired (hence the endless contractions, - braxton hicks or not- random emotional episodes resembling Niagara falls, massive headaches) (geeze, right now i'm feeling like i should just scrap this entire post because it is so darn negative...but i'm not going to, because this is today, and this is me. and i don't sugar coat anything). I'm just starting to experience lower back pain - this is MUCH later than when I first experienced it with Ace and it's much less painful(praise You, Jesus!), and I am so thankful for that! I'm still rocking the sciatica and pelvic pain. Sometimes I can barely walk, and the pelvic injury literally feels like someone has a knife in my pubic bone and is ripping it in two. Lovely. In the past week, baby has been digging up under my ribs and behind my hip bone...what the?! He moves a lot and we can always see his little body and individual limbs...so fun but so freaky - Mace said soon he's going to go for my kidneys...it's crazy!
SO, for positives, we are absolutely over the MOON for this sweet babe! our ultrasound last week was so precious and so reassuring to me. he's not ugly! haha! sweetest thing last week - i was rocking Ace before bed and the babe was rocking away in my belly and it clicked for the first time with Ace that it was his baby brother moving around. He got tickled and said "take a nap, Aaakkkthooool!"
i still don't have a car, but it's looking like we may be getting close to finding something that will work! Mace has had a rockin' week on the car lot. so refreshing, so encouraging!
my fingernails are simply amazing right now. at the end of my pregnancies, they grow like weeds and are so healthy! i think i'm going to cut them soon, though, because my fingers look more and more like sausages daily(update: I cut them. my fingers are too petite and my nails too narrow to handle the swelling with dignity)!
Next week, we get to find out how my progress I've made...I'll be surprised if it's anything, but we'll see! Mace has the WHOLE weekend off and we are so stinkin' excited!! Happy end of the week and weekend to you all!

not even joking, you;re going to have a 40 pound baby. because there just isnt anywhere else on you that can possibly be described as bigger than it should be. you are a fitpregnancy covermodel!
girl, you are straight crazy. and in fairness to my loathing, i'm way bigger in person.
