Slacker

Let's just face it.  A weekly belly shot and update can get a little boring.  So I skipped last week because nothing's really the same.  And at my 2-week check last week, seriously nothing had changed.  So the good news is that my uterus can contract all day every day at intervals of 5-15 minutes and not effect my cervix.  And the bad news is, my uterus can contract all day every day at intervals of 5-15 minutes and not effect my cervix.  Hah!
And some even better(or worse, depending on how you view mommy mobiles)news is that we are potentially getting a pretty sweet Honda Odyssey before the weekend is over!  I love it, and I am devastated.  I seriously still hate minivans, but it is amazing and so nice.  It has so.much.room.  And a/c, which is something we haven't had in a car for more than a year.  That's also how long it's been since I've had a car of my own.  Crazy!  So we're praying that everything works out and we can get it!
bah-baaaaam. 35 weeks.
Hanging out at 39 lbs gained.  And heck yeah, I'm holding on to that 1 lb.  I'm sure it matters somewhere in eternity.  Things are pretty much the same,  symptoms-wise, and we'll find out the little buckaroo's position and direction at my next appointment.  Starting next week they are EVERY week!!  Scary and SO exciting how close we are!  I am having a really hard time getting sleep at night.  Between my overactive pregnancy bladder and a ridiculously unquenchable thirst, I was wide awake from 3am until 630am.  Craziness.  And then Ace was up at 745.  I made a lot of progress in our disaster of a closet, though, and got two loads of laundry ready for the wash.  I've now washed all my maternity clothes that I know I'll definitely wear, if I need to.  So once it cools down enough for anything other than tank tops and cheer shorts, I've got no excuses for bumming it everyday.  You know, except for the huge, uncomfortable belly I haul around, hah!

And here, because I know I've certainly missed him on the blog, is the world's most adorable Spider Man
don't worry, I'm still pregnant.
we kept telling him to show us his Spider Man "stance," but he was hearing "dance."  So funny!
even once we got him to pose, he was still shaking his bum...or trying.  poor boy's got his mama's hips.
you don't wanna mess with this.
he's not so sure about the built-in boobs yet, hah!
pretty sure he'll be going to college in this.

Clint and I got an Odyssey right before we had Walker. It's the best thing ever! I always said I'd never have a minivan, but when this one dies, I'll be getting another one! I love it! Hope it works out for you get join the Odyssey Family!
