on December 26th, Mace's granddad was admitted to the hospital with double pneumonia after being ill for more than two weeks. on the 1st of January, he was diagnosed with cancer, and was admitted to hospice on January 2nd. he passed away on the 6th of January. it all happened much faster than anticipated and he will be sorely missed. love and miss you, "geat ganddad."
